The short version

Bantah Draft is run by Bantah Boyz — a small independent team. We collect the data we need to run your account and your leagues, and nothing we don't. We don't sell it, we don't share it with advertisers, and we don't work with data brokers.

If you want to see, export, or delete your data, you can do it yourself from your profile — or email us and we'll handle it within 7 days.

What we collect

Account info

Email address (to sign you in)
Display name and avatar
Date of birth (to confirm you're 18+)
Timezone and locale

League and draft activity

Leagues you're in and team names
Draft picks, queues, roster moves
Trades, waivers, free agent pickups
Lineup choices and weekly scores

Chat

League chat messages and announcements

Analytics (only with your consent)

Pages you visit and features you use — helps us figure out what's broken and what's useful
Device type, browser, screen size
Error logs when something crashes

You can turn analytics off any time in your profile, and we honor it everywhere.

What we use it for

Running the platform — leagues, scoring, real-time updates
Making the app better — figuring out what works and what doesn't (analytics, with consent)
Sending you the notifications you signed up for
Keeping things secure and dealing with abuse

How long we keep it

When you delete your account, we purge your data after a 30-day grace period (in case you change your mind). Anonymous, aggregated stats may stick around.

Your rights

See it: Tap Export My Data in your profile and we'll send you a JSON file with everything we have.
Fix it: Update your info from your profile any time.
Delete it: Delete your account from your profile. 30-day grace period in case you change your mind.
Change your mind on analytics: Turn off behavioral, device, or marketing tracking any time in your profile.

If any of the above doesn't work or you'd rather just ask us, email bantahbros@gmail.com and we'll sort it within 7 days.

Who we share data with

The infrastructure that runs the app:

Google Cloud: Hosting and storage (US, Iowa region). Cloud Run, Firestore, BigQuery.
Firebase Authentication: Handles sign-in via Google or email/password.
Google Analytics (GA4): Only loads if you opted in. Tracks page views and feature usage to help us improve the app.

What we do NOT do:

Sell your data
Share with ad networks or marketing platforms
Work with data brokers
Send your data anywhere other than Google Cloud

Security

Everything encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest
Sign-in via Firebase with token-based sessions
Role-based access — commissioners can't snoop on others
Audit logs on sensitive actions

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in. Analytics cookies only load if you accept the consent banner. You can change your mind in your profile any time.

Under 18

Bantah Draft is for users 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you think a minor has signed up, email us and we'll delete the account promptly.

Changes to this policy

If we make a material change, we'll let you know in the app or by email. Continuing to use Bantah Draft after a change means you're okay with the new policy.
