Getting Started with Bantah Draft

What is Bantah Draft?

Fantasy football where YOU draft real players and compete head-to-head. No captains, no chips, no player prices — just pure draft strategy.

How It Works

  1. Create or Join a League — Create a World Cup 2026 league in seconds with Quick Create, or join one with a code from your commissioner.
  2. Draft Your Squad — Snake draft, live with your league. Pick real players across GK, DEF, MID, and FWD positions.
  3. Set Your Lineup — Each round, choose your starting 11 from your roster. Bench the rest.
  4. Score Fantasy Points — Your players earn FPts based on real match performance: goals, assists, clean sheets, tackles, and more.
  5. Win Your Matchup — Each round, you face an opponent. Higher total FPts wins. Climb the standings to be crowned champion.

League Formats

  • H2H Points — Weekly head-to-head matchups. Win = 3pts, Draw = 1pt, Loss = 0pts. Like a real league table.
  • Total Points — No matchups. Highest cumulative FPts wins. Great for shorter tournaments.

World Cup 2026 Leagues

  • 48 nations, 1300+ players to draft from
  • Per-nation limit: Max 3 players from any one country (configurable 2-5 by your commissioner)
  • 8 rounds: Group Round 1, Group Round 2, Group Round 3, R32, R16, QF, SF, and Final
  • Players from eliminated nations stop scoring — they stay on your roster flagged as "Eliminated". You can drop them through the regular waiver/free-agent flow to free up a slot.

League Sizes

  • 6-16 teams (any size). Odd numbers get a phantom "League Average" opponent each round.
  • Smart roster defaults based on your league size:

- Small (6-8 teams): 12 players (11 starters + 1 bench)

- Medium (9-12 teams): 16 players (11 + 5)

- Large (13-16 teams): 20 players (11 + 9)
