Matchups & Live Scoring

Your Matchup

Each round, you face one opponent (in H2H mode). Your starting 11's total FPts vs theirs. Higher total wins.

In Total Points mode, there are no matchups — everyone's FPts are ranked on a leaderboard instead.

Real-Time Live Scoring

When matches are live:

• FPts update in real-time (every few seconds) — no need to refresh
• Watch your score change as goals, assists, and tackles happen on the pitch
• Clean sheets are shown as pending during live matches and only confirmed at full-time
• Your players' individual stat breakdowns update live

Reading the Matchup Page

• Score bar (sticky top): your total vs opponent, always visible as you scroll
• Player cards: each player listed by position with their individual FPts and key stats
• Stat pills: inline badges showing what each player has done (goals, assists, cards, etc.)
• Team colors: your players vs opponent players are color-coded for quick scanning
• Other matchups: see how the rest of the league is doing this round
• CLOSE badge: appears when a matchup is within 5 FPts — it's going down to the wire

After the Round

• Results are finalized immediately after all matches complete
• Win/Loss/Draw recorded with full stat breakdowns
• "Top Scorer" highlights your best performer
• "Bench Hurt" shows if you left points on the bench

Odd Number of Teams

If your league has an odd number of teams, one team each round faces the League Average — a phantom opponent whose score is the mean of all real teams that round.
